Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-month milestones
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Build and manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI tracking
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products with $50M+ revenue
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological systems
