Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026+ initiatives
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate into actionable R&D priorities
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop patent-pending solutions in AI/ML and quantum computing
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of radical innovation
- Collaborate with global partners to shape industry standards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (AI/quantum preferred)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex tech ecosystems
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI
- Experience scaling R&D teams to 50+ engineers
- Prior success securing government/private innovation grants
