Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global 2026 sustainability targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Identify emerging tech disruptions and assess market readiness for commercial adoption
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, government, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Mentor technical teams in future-focused development methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling breakthrough technologies (quantum, AR/VR, or bio-computing)
- Expertise in forecasting technology adoption curves and market disruption
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Deep understanding of UN SDGs and climate tech integration
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-tech innovations
