Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with focus on quantum-AI convergence and neurotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions in simulated future environments
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies including generative AI and brain-computer interfaces
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop predictive market models for technology adoption curves across consumer and enterprise sectors
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including venture capital partners
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies and speculative design thinking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with PhD preferred
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or spatial computing
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets with measurable ROI outcomes
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies including horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of exponential technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
