Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4.0, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) to identify commercial opportunities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budgets through ROI-driven proposals
- Mentor a 15-person future-tech incubation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent industry impact)
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives to $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, generative AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/Nature journals
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified innovation projects
