Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term technology strategies aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable energy research initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, NASA, and global tech accelerators
- Secure federal innovation grants and venture capital for experimental projects
- Mentor a 15-person cross-disciplinary innovation team
- Present annual technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive commercialization of 3+ patented technologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with 5+ years at Fortune 500 level
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ in research funding
- Expertise in AI ethics, blockchain scaling, and climate tech innovation
- Published author in Nature or Science journals
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
- Active holder of 5+ technology patents
