Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and strategic alignment
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for future tech adoption
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members
- Manage innovation pipeline and prioritize R&D investments
- Build external partnerships with research institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Proven experience developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience managing innovation budgets over $1M
