Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum AI, biotech convergence, and spatial computing
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential >$1B market impact
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and digital sovereignty
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and acquire transformative startups
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching products with exponential growth trajectories
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (e.g., Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Experience scaling technology teams from 10 to 100+ engineers
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized innovations
