Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market viability (e.g., quantum computing, advanced AI, neurotech)
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and mitigate technological risks
- Present actionable insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Manage a $2M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and prototype development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business/Technology MBA
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience building high-impact tech partnerships across sectors
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Fluency in English with excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills
