Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) into product pipelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for R&D initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, patent analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Strong network of tech industry leaders and academic researchers
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Tableau, Python, R) and strategic frameworks
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
