As a key architect of our next-gen technology initiatives, you'll identify emerging trends, develop cutting-edge solutions, and lead cross-functional teams to transform industry paradigms. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 3 days/week from our San Francisco hub, with full-time office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You'll collaborate with AI researchers, quantum computing specialists, and sustainable tech pioneers to deliver breakthrough solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) to develop 2026-2028 strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation across experimental tech verticals
- Drive patent development for proprietary innovations in sustainable computing
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership through keynotes
- Partner with policy teams to navigate regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading commercialization of breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuro-interfaces, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals on disruptive technologies
- Experience scaling tech teams from prototype to enterprise deployment
- Global network of innovators and venture capitalists
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for APAC market expansion
