- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes to identify first-mover opportunities
- Partner with C-suite to secure $10M+ annual R&D budget for future tech initiatives
- Mentor 15+ engineers and researchers through innovation sprints and technology incubation programs
- Present strategic vision to board members and industry stakeholders at global tech forums
- Drive adoption of futuristic solutions through stakeholder workshops and change management
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in future tech forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's venture capital and research communities
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent advanced certification
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for experimental technology programs
