Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neural interfaces) and assess market viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with global sustainability and ethical frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough innovations
- Partner with venture capital arms to secure funding for emerging tech ventures
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal impact of 2026-era technologies
- Advose C-suite on technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven portfolio of launched technologies with $10M+ commercial impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience building ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Strong network with DARPA, EU Horizon, or national innovation agencies
- Prior work on climate-positive technology solutions
