Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives for emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Develop and maintain 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate future technologies into development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 2026+ use cases
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or advanced materials
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize global tech trends
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
