Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across product ecosystems
- Quantify market potential and ROI for emerging innovations through rigorous analysis
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and invest in frontier technology startups
- Present technology adoption strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Author thought leadership reports on technology megatrends
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in technology commercialization or corporate innovation
- Deep expertise in at least three frontier domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in technology forecasting models
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of emerging technologies
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 environments
- Published research or patents in relevant technology domains
