Responsibilities
- Lead market research and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies for potential acquisition or development opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate strategic vision into actionable development plans
- Build and manage a network of industry experts, academics, and technology partners
- Monitor global tech policies and regulations to ensure compliance and strategic positioning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused technology initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their market applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partnerships
- Certifications in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
