Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scanning' teams to assess emerging technologies' commercial viability and ethical implications
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and Fortune 100 companies for technology co-development
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to the C-suite and Board of Directors
- Oversee the Future Tech Incubator program, mentoring 50+ researchers and entrepreneurs annually
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Reports' forecasting technology disruptions within 3-5 year windows
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across Innovate Corp's global operations and product ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, or space tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Business with technology focus
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains with published thought leadership
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data into strategic frameworks
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for technology initiatives and managing R&D pipelines
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Boston, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
