Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy) through 2026
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and market opportunities
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and sustainability goals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments affecting future deployments
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, circular economy tech)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented initiatives with measurable business impact
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive communication skills for presenting futuristic concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in emerging tech or strategic foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional, CTO Academy) preferred
