Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen products with $2M+ annual budgets
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into core business strategy
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record launching tech products with >$50M revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization proficiency (Tableau/Power BI)
- Exceptional communication for executive stakeholder engagement
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends
