Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies
- Analyze market trends and regulatory landscapes to identify strategic opportunities in 2026+ tech ecosystems
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial offerings
- Represent company vision at global tech summits and policy forums
- Build and lead a specialized innovation lab focused on long-term technology horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech development
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting technologies
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Experience securing $5M+ in government or private innovation grants
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
