Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields including generative AI, quantum computing, and bio-integrated systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives and growth targets
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product specialists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks and ROI projections to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic pivots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with proven track record in commercializing emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI, neuromorphic chips, etc.)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M with measurable ROI outcomes
- Strong network within global tech innovation communities and research institutions
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business opportunities
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology fields
