Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute a comprehensive 5-year technology strategy, specifically focusing on milestones leading up to and including 2026.
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Monitor global technology trends, including AI, Quantum Computing, and Sustainable Tech, to identify opportunities and threats.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee research initiatives and pilot programs to validate new technologies before full-scale implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technological visions to non-technical stakeholders and translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analyses of competitor strategies to ensure our 2026 vision maintains a significant market advantage.
- Resource Allocation: Partner with finance and operations to allocate budget effectively toward future-tech initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or innovation consulting.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT, Quantum) and their potential commercial applications.
