- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, biohybrid systems) with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and Fortune 500 companies for collaborative innovation
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage portfolio of future-focused projects from concept to market validation
- Establish ethical frameworks and sustainability protocols for next-gen technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-tech adoption and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy (PhD preferred)
- Prior work with Fortune 500 C-suite on strategic technology transformation
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Fluency in future-tech forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
