Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $10M+ annual budget oversight
- Anticipate disruptive tech trends through market analysis and patent research
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and emerging startups
- Drive innovation sprints with agile methodologies
- Author thought leadership for industry conferences and publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals preferred
- Security clearance eligibility (government contracts)
