Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 3-5 year technology innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for AI, quantum, and biotech integrations
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups in Silicon Valley
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level business strategies
- Oversee R&D portfolio allocation and ROI analysis for futuristic technologies
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least 3 of these domains: AI, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with $50M+ revenue impact
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of technological convergence and exponential growth patterns
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with Fortune 500 executives
- Published research or patents in futuristic technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
