Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budgets for emerging tech experimentation
- Mentor junior futurists through our Tech Vanguard mentorship program
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or Technology Foresight
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology Review preferred
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DOE, NSF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ scaled tech innovation projects
