Job Description
Are you ready to define the future?
Nexus Horizons is on a mission to architect the technological landscape of 2026 and beyond. We are seeking a visionary Future Systems Architect to lead our cutting-edge research into the convergence of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Spatial Computing, and Sustainable Energy Grids.
In this role, you won't just be maintaining systems; you will be building the foundational infrastructure for the next industrial revolution. You will bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable, real-world deployment, ensuring our solutions are not only revolutionary but also resilient and efficient.
If you thrive in ambiguity and possess an obsession with clean code and elegant architecture, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and implement scalable software architectures that integrate neural networks with legacy infrastructure for a seamless 2026 transition.
- Pilot 2026 Initiatives: Spearhead experimental projects focusing on AGI safety protocols, quantum-ready cloud storage, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
- Lead Technical Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams of futurists, data scientists, and engineers to translate high-level concepts into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure high availability and low-latency performance for systems processing petabytes of real-time spatial data.
- Define Standards: Establish industry-leading coding standards and security protocols for next-gen AI applications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or a related technical field with a focus on AI or emerging technologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go, with deep understanding of distributed systems and containerization (Docker/K8s).
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and adapt technology stacks to future market demands.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
