Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory environments to ensure secure and seamless access.
- Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in our ticketing system to improve team efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system trends and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and emails promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage) and operating systems (Windows 10/11).
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, and basic router configuration is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Wichita area.
