Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network systems
- Diagnose and resolve user issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Assist with system installations, configurations, and maintenance
- Document technical procedures and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex problem resolution
- Support cybersecurity initiatives including access management and vulnerability scanning
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs for equipment handling
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
