Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and network devices.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets using our ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security scans.
- Document technical procedures and troubleshooting steps in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on larger projects and deployments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or Computer Science preferred).
- Basic understanding of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Active Directory concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with non-technical users.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) within the first year.
