Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and chat
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and security protocols
- Assist with user account management and access control systems
- Monitor network performance and report potential vulnerabilities
- Participate in IT asset inventory and lifecycle management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in varied office environments
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
