Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripheral devices
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate service desk ticketing records
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network security protocols and system updates
- Assist with onboarding new employees including device setup and account provisioning
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity problems
- Participate in IT asset management and inventory control procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities with customer service mindset
- Valid Arizona driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
