Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Hardware & Software: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Network Assistance: Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN) and wireless connectivity for the office.
- Help Desk Management: Log, track, and manage IT helpdesk tickets using our ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow or Jira).
- Security Compliance: Help enforce IT security protocols and ensure data privacy for all users.
- Asset Management: Assist in inventory management and the lifecycle of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required, but internships or personal projects are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet connectivity.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
