Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Windows environments
- Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions in service management systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
- Conduct regular security audits and implement basic cybersecurity protocols
- Assist with cloud service administration (Azure/O365) and backup systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and LAN/WAN setups
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer service mindset
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) preferred
- Valid Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation
