Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/macOS workstations and servers
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems
- Document IT processes and create technical knowledge base articles
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols including patch management and access controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and migrations
- Train end-users on new software and security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows OS and Active Directory administration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment handling
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional client site visits
