Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment: post job listings, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and extend offers
- Assist with employee onboarding: prepare new hire paperwork, conduct orientations, and maintain HRIS records
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment assistance and claim resolution
- Support HR compliance initiatives: maintain I-9 documentation, track leave balances, and ensure policy adherence
- Organize employee engagement initiatives: coordinate team-building events and recognition programs
- Handle confidential HR inquiries with discretion and professionalism
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of California employment laws (FEHA, IWC orders) and EEO guidelines
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
