Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for candidates in Wichita and surrounding areas.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the new hire orientation process, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and welcoming new team members to the organization.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and procedures while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Administrative Coordination: Maintain employee files, update HRIS systems, and prepare reports regarding staff statistics and attendance.
- Training & Development: Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and company events to foster team building and professional development.
- Compliance: Support compliance initiatives by staying up-to-date with federal and state labor laws and ensuring proper documentation is on file.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and management.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
- Interpersonal Skills: A proactive, friendly, and approachable demeanor with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new HR processes quickly.
