Responsibilities
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews for open positions
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain accurate recruitment data
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires including document preparation
- Assist with employee relations inquiries and resolve routine HR matters
- Support HR compliance initiatives including EEO recordkeeping
- Organize recruitment events and campus outreach programs
- Collaborate with department managers on staffing needs and hiring plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of HR/recruitment experience preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday or SAP a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Valid driver's license for occasional travel to job fairs
