Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Assist with onboarding processes including new hire paperwork and orientation
- Manage HRIS data entry and ensure record accuracy in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate employee relations initiatives including performance tracking and recognition programs
- Assist with benefits administration and enrollment processes
- Support HR analytics projects with data collection and reporting
- Collaborate with department heads on staffing needs and workforce planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Workday/BambooHR a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of federal and DC employment regulations (EEO, FMLA, FLSA)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a changing environment
