Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and extending offers
- Manage new hire onboarding process: prepare documentation, conduct orientations, and coordinate equipment setup
- Maintain and update HRIS database (Workday) with employee records and documentation
- Assist with compliance initiatives: prepare EEO-1 reports, maintain I-9 documentation, and track leave balances
- Coordinate employee relations activities: organize engagement surveys, address routine inquiries, and support recognition programs
- Prepare HR reports: turnover metrics, recruitment analytics, and department headcounts
- Support HR projects: process improvements, policy updates, and benefits administration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, or ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of federal/state employment laws (FLSA, EEOC)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
