Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing offer logistics
- Assist with onboarding processes including new hire paperwork, system access, and orientation sessions
- Manage employee records in HRIS platforms (Workday experience preferred)
- Contribute to HR initiatives including engagement surveys, benefits administration, and compliance documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll procedures
- Assist in maintaining HR compliance with federal and state regulations (CA labor law focus)
- Support HR analytics projects through data collection and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience required
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, BambooHR, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive problem-solving approach with customer service mindset
