Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination
- Support onboarding initiatives for new hires including document preparation and orientation scheduling
- Maintain accurate HR records in our HRIS system and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Contribute to employee engagement activities and assist with HR-related inquiries
- Assist in processing payroll data and benefits administration tasks
- Support HR analytics projects to improve workforce metrics
- Collaborate with department heads on staffing needs and performance management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of Wisconsin labor laws and HR best practices
- Proactive problem-solving approach and team collaboration mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits
