Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Manage onboarding documentation and new hire orientation logistics
- Assist with employee relations inquiries and maintain HRIS records
- Coordinate HR compliance initiatives including I-9 verification and personnel file maintenance
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Assist in organizing employee engagement events and wellness programs
- Generate HR reports and maintain accurate personnel databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday or BambooHR experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
- Proactive problem-solving approach and collaborative mindset
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (for occasional off-site meetings)
