Responsibilities
- Assist in full-cycle recruitment: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Support HR compliance initiatives: maintain accurate personnel files, track documentation, and ensure regulatory adherence
- Facilitate employee engagement: coordinate wellness programs, organize team events, and address routine employee inquiries
- Manage HRIS data entry: update employee records, prepare reports, and maintain database integrity
- Assist with compensation administration: process payroll adjustments, track benefits enrollment, and administer leave requests
- Support HR projects: participate in process improvements, assist with audits, and contribute to HR strategy development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 0-2 years of HR experience or relevant internship/co-op experience
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday/BambooHR preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities with professional written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
