Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for candidates in the Wichita area.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork, IT equipment, and training materials are prepared and delivered.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and company culture.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, including digital and physical records, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and answering basic questions regarding health insurance and retirement plans.
- HR Events: Support the planning and execution of HR events, such as team-building activities and employee recognition programs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
- Attitude: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a genuine interest in human capital and organizational development.
