Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interview schedules for candidates in the Detroit area.
- Onboarding Excellence: Manage new hire orientations, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and that new team members feel welcomed and prepared.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and internal procedures, maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- HR Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with state regulations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing company-wide HR events, such as team building activities and recognition programs.
- Policy Administration: Help disseminate important company updates and HR policies to staff, ensuring clear communication across all departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with HR software or databases is a plus.
