Horizon Nexus Labs is pioneering the roadmap for the year 2026, and we are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead this transformation. You will be responsible for defining the technological architecture that will underpin our next-generation products and services. We need a visionary leader who is not just comfortable with current tech stacks, but who thrives on anticipating the paradigms of tomorrow.
In this role, you will oversee the integration of advanced AI, quantum-ready computing, and sustainable data infrastructures. You will lead a world-class engineering team and drive innovation that sets the standard for the industry in 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for the 2026 strategic overhaul, aligning technology with business objectives.
- System Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, distributed cloud infrastructure capable of handling enterprise-grade workloads.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, recruit, and retain top-tier engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee research and development initiatives in Generative AI, Neural Interfaces, and Quantum Computing.
- Compliance & Security: Establish and enforce rigorous cybersecurity protocols and data governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership to communicate complex technical strategies effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CTO/VP of Engineering).
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in AI/ML, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), Microservices, and Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Future-Ready Skills: Demonstrated experience with or deep interest in emerging technologies such as Quantum Computing and Edge Computing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of scaling high-traffic platforms and solving complex scalability and reliability issues.
