As a Trainee, you will work closely with experienced professionals to master the fundamentals of banking operations, customer relationship management, and financial product sales.
Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and check cashing with a high degree of precision.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to build long-term relationships.
- Product Sales: Assist customers in opening new accounts, setting up direct deposits, and exploring our suite of financial products.
- Operations: Maintain accurate records, reconcile daily cash drawers, and ensure compliance with all bank security and regulatory policies.
- Team Collaboration: Support the branch team in daily operations and assist in maintaining a clean, organized branch environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: No prior banking experience required; however, cash handling or retail experience is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong math skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and basic computer proficiency.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays to support branch operations.
- Attitude: A professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and grow within a corporate environment.
