Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process daily transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while maintaining strict security protocols.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve service issues efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions, reconcile cash drawers at the end of the shift, and ensure all funds match system records.
- Product Sales: Learn to identify cross-selling opportunities for credit cards, savings accounts, and investment products to help grow our client base.
- Compliance & Ethics: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies.
- Operational Support: Assist branch managers with lobby organization, ATM maintenance, and opening/closing procedures as required.
- Problem Solving: Assist customers with troubleshooting account issues and guide them to the appropriate resources or personnel for complex matters.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates with strong potential.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency with basic computer applications and POS systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and cash handling.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Integrity: Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical decision-making in a financial environment.
