Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to build lasting relationships.
- Cash Management: Manage the cash drawer, balance daily transactions, and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Product Promotion: Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to our suite of financial products and services.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate complex matters to the branch manager when necessary.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, regulations, and security protocols to ensure the safety of customer assets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is a plus but not mandatory for this Trainee role.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch operations.
- Legal: Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
